28 Feb Fayette County Outreach Luncheon
On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, representatives from CoCo’s Cupboard, Fayette Humane Society, Friends of Fayette County, Hounds in Pounds, Rescue Cats and Royal Animal Refuge all gathered for a free Lunch at Crosstown Grille to learn about the Southern Animal Alliance Group!
It was a fabulous eat and learn meeting where Wendy Maguire and Board member Trich LeCroy shared how SAAG can make funding and resources available for their nonprofit. Wendy Maguire shared, “Helping our county animals and you, the people dedicated to making the dogs and cats lives better is our goal.” “We want to say yes to every request for funding in order to reach the pets in need.”
Trich shared how the Sales from the small batch, clean crafted wine company, Scout and Cellar have been monumental in getting SAAG going since Mid August. “To date we have raised over $2500.00 in Scout and Cellar wine sales alone, a win-win for the consumer having the wine that is preservative, chemical and additive free while helping their communities pets.”
A special Thanks to Crosstown Grille for the wonderful Lunch and Scout and Cellar for their wonderful Wine!
A special thank you to the Fayette Day Break Rotary represented by Carol Stallings and Jody Leonard who have partnered with SAAG for their fundraising efforts!
